Last Tuesday I kept Brown home from MDO because he'd been running a fever on Monday. He was feeling better, but not back to "himself" yet. To pass the time, we had a picnic out on our tiny little balcony and just had fun spending the day together!
I was very eager to see how Anna did at school without him. When we went to pick her up, the teachers said she was fine and that made me feel great! But as soon as she got home, she COULD NOT keep her hands off of her brother!!!!!
I guess she missed him after all!
Picnic on the porch!
More sweet hugs!!
Hugs galore!! As you can see, Brown was not that into the hugging thing! He's definitely ALL boy! :)
This was one happy little girls when she saw her brother!!!!
I've been out of town for a week, and what a nice surprise to come back to. Quite a lot has been accomplished while I was away, but there's still a TON to be done!!
Ready or not, we're moving in before November 1st!!!!!

Last weekend, we had a girls getaway to the Great Wolf Lodge. Brown spent the weekend in Waco with my parents, and I took Anna to Grapevine to meet Aunt Aubrey, my best friend, and her daughter Allison. We had a blast! There's only a month between Alli & Anna, so they had so much fun together. Allison has quite the personality (I wonder where she got that??!!??) and kept us laughing all weekend long!
The girls were interested in everything, and there was NEVER a dull moment. Our favorite event had to be story time with Wiley the Wolf!
On our way to Waco last week, Grandinka met us for lunch in Abilene and then we headed to the zoo. The kiddos loved seeing all of the animals, and feeding them too. The best exhibit there had to be the giraffes! You walk across a bridge and then you are almost eye level with the giraffes. They were so much fun to feed, but I learned that they have really long black tongues that are very slimy too!
Anna was fascinated by the animals, but she thinks that they all say, "MOO!"
Brown just enjoyed his freedom by running, and running, and running around everywhere! This Mama sure did get her workout for the day!
Ready to see some animals!
